Twibbon is a free application that promotes awareness of brands and campaigns on Twitter and Facebook.
On Twibbon.com, passionate users can create campaigns together with a small representative icon, now universally referred to as a ‘Twibbon’, to be overlaid onto their supporters’ profile images.
Users choose from tens of thousands of available campaignss found on Twibbon.com and support and promote their chosen campaign to their followers. They do this by prominently wearing the branded ‘Twibbon’ over their profile image and sending out a suggestion for their friends to do the same. Supporters can also tweet about the brand, embed links and views of supporters onto their blogs and set a collage of supporters’ images as their profile backgrounds; all popular activities which are readily achievable on Twibbon.com, providing highly viral ways of driving traffic back to our site.
