Tweetag aims at filtering and making valuable real-time tweets available to online medias.

It started in November 2008 with a free webapp to easily browse the twittosphere. Making it easy to browse through the most discussed topics related to any query.

In May 2009, they started monetizing the service by offering filtered tweets to online medias in Belgium and France.

To date, their professional widgets have been used on

• Skynet.be (media portal of Belgacom, first telecom company in Belgium)
• LeSoir.be (first newspaper in French speaking Belgium)
• LeMonde.fr (first newspaper in France)
• EuropeanVoice.com (the Economist, Europe)
