This is a special MonkeySourcing web service specifically for translating Anamo. It is basically a wiki for translations. A list of all the languages for which Anamo wants to offer a localized version is first presented. By clicking on a language/locale, the entire English-based repository of phrases across Anamo is shown in alphabetical order. From that single page an individual or group of people can discuss and collaborate to find the best translation for every phrase.
This tool was created to ensure that Anamo has as much localized versions as possible. The only prerequisite to edits is a common Anamo Personal Account. When at least 50% of the strings for a language are translated, the translation will be available across Anamo.
When someone starts a new translation session, he/she is automatically presented with an automated (Google powered translation) of the phrase. That is very helpful starting point that makes translating a little bit easier. All the translations are submitted via AJAX forms, which means that there are minimal page refreshes and thus waiting.
