The Colibria Social Network Gateway provides a simple enhancement to existing mobile IM clients that enables the user to access the plethora of social networks from within a single application on their mobile handset. This key capability allows operators to launch social network access without having to integrate new social network clients across their often diverse handset base.
The solution allows mobile users to be updated on the activity within their social network, whilst also allowing them to post comments and pictures directly from their mobile. Automatic synchronisation occurs between the users Instant Messaging status and their social network status allowing a single status update to be posted to multiple networks. The user can also poke contacts to promote interaction.
