Slense follows an innovative approach to search by combining the analysis of the content (in-dexing, text-mining), the metadata generated by collaborative systems (folksono-mies, ratings), as well as the users’ social networks to identify a peer-group of rele-vant content-generators and evaluators. Slense therefore enables the representation, navigation and search of content within a limited “section of the webâ€. The results from Slense are not comprehensive, and are therefore complementary to results from traditional search engines, but are selected from trustworthy and highly relevant sources for the individual user.
