Sclipo is a social learning network. People use Sclipo to teach, learn and to connect with people of common educational interests. Sclipo integrates rich educational applications - such as an educational video player and a live web classroom - with social network features.

At Sclipo, each member has a personal Profile to connect with other members and to enroll in courses, join study groups and participate in educational events. The member Profile also serves to store learning materials and to showcase teaching activities - if a member uses Sclipo also to teach.

All Sclipo members have the option to teach, both formally and informally. For this, Sclipo provides each member with an Academy Space - which is their own eLearning app. The Academy Space offers state-of-the-art tools to create, promote and conduct educational activities on- & offline, synchronous and asynchronously.

Sclipo is structured to reflect the natural education experience: Learn > Socialize > Teach.
