Our first offering is commercial services and support around OpenVPMS, an open source veterinary practice management software providing electronic health records, customer relationship management, appointment scheduling management and pharmaceutical inventory management to veterinary clinics and hospitals (see more at http://vetanyware.com/products/openvpms). VetAnyware believes that by making software acquisition costs near zero and providing ubiquitous access to the practice management software through an internet browser, we can remove the largest barrier for veterinarians to adopt practice management software and an electronic animal health records system.
Veterinarians can get the OpenVPMS in a cloud (managed, hosted model that you pay per month per vet) or as a hardware appliance (plug and play self contained unit to be run onsite in a clinic) or preinstalled on a workstation (desktop or laptop). Customers are welcome to download the software code, read the software installation/configuration documentation and run OpenVPMS on their own hardware and software.
