Indies’ Magento Reward Points extension allows a store owner to give out points as rewards to the customers for buying from the store. These points can be converted to currency and used to buy some more products. The points can be awarded during various aspects of purchase transaction starting from buying, referring a product to a friend, registration on site, like your store on social media pages etc.

Features of ‘Reward Points’ extension:

Easy to install, configure and maintain.
Reward points to buyers when they register, on final total of shopping cart, when a referred friend buys something from the store.
Specific products can be set to have specific reward points.
Calculation of points is done two ways: – Step value (buyer wins points after a specific milestone of present points) – Automatic use/custom field
The value of step in the step value calculation method can be set from admin side. The selection field will be shown in the cart.
Point to award per order can be limited.
Shipping fees can be included in point discount.
Discount calculation can be added on product before or after including tax
To get the initial first point some specific amount of money can be set.
Points can be assigned to any amount of money/currency (E.g. 1 point = 2 Dollars or 2 points = 3 Euros)
Apart from direct assignment of points admin can also specify magento default cart and catalog rules to reward points
Admin can send notifications of new points rewarded and of point expiry date.
