Maffia New is a game in the genre of psychological detective stories.
It is a social analog of the classic game Mafia. Players are divided into three groups – peaceful citizens, mafia, and police. The mafia’s aim is to kill peaceful citizens and avoid being caught by the police. In order to remain unrecognized, they pass themselves off as peaceful citizens whose aim is to find killers and avoid accusing an innocent character. Policemen protect citizens and check more suspicious people. There is another character who can be appointed – the maniac. The essential element of the game is a chat, because it is exactly user’s phrases and behavior that allow the others to understand if he tells the truth or conceals something. In every tour, players need to spend money in the virtual currency, LIR acquired for real money.
The main target audience is 16-to-30-year-old people of both genders who are familiar with the classical version of the game.
