Maestro.fm is a social music and playlist discovery platform that allows users to access music and playlists through any browser, find out what their friends are listening to and who’s listening to you. Additionally, users can manage and listen to their playlists online, send to friends or stream directly to their MySpace or Facebook profiles. Users can find playlists and music they want to hear, view related content such as artist bios, reviews, lyrics, photos, and videos as well as purchase MP3s and ringtones for the songs they discover.
The full user experience requires users to download the Maestro Connector client application to a home Mac or PC so users can scan their music collection, sync their iTunes playlists online and interact with everything through Maestro.fm. Users who do not wish to download the Maestro Connector can still have a robust passive music experience by finding and listening to playlists created by other Maestro members.
