LiveMocha is an ad-supported language learning website that allows users to subscribe and complete language courses at various levels of expertise for German, English, Spanish, French, Hindi, and Mandarin Chinese as of January 2008. Along the way, users can practice via speech or text with other users and tutor people trying to learn their native language.
LiveMocha competes with italki, a China-based startup offering similar services.
