BlackLine’s Journal Entry module helps companies control and centralize the manual journal entry process. Manual journals may be created, validated, electronically certified, and stored with supporting documentation in BlackLine. Journals may be uploaded to the general ledger, either one-by-one or in batch on schedule. Actual journal status and numbers are synchronized with the GL so that BlackLine becomes the trusted system-of-record for both internal and external auditors.
