AdShare is a free iPhone application advertising service that allows developers to promote each other’s iPhone applications directly to the iPhone user. By implementing such a cross-promotion program, all participating developers will receive increased exposure to their own specific application, thus raising awareness and leading to a higher level of downloads.
The AdShare service also includes Analytics, a free analysis tool, which allows developers to track the usage statistics of their applications—per session use, user location trends and detailed demographic reports, and more. This will allow developers to improve their applications as well as provide statistics for potential advertisers.
Purple Talk will follow the launch of AdShare and Analytics with continuing enhancements to these services and create additional services in order to establish itself as the premiere advertising network for application developers.
