HubPages allows users with little or no technical background to create Hubs or content rich web articles. HubPages authors, known as Hubbers, are able to earn money by publishing their Hubs on any topic. The HubPages ecosystem provides a search-friendly infrastructure which drives traffic to Hubs from search engines such as Google and Yahoo; this enables Hubbers to earn revenue from advertising vehicles such as Google AdSense, Kontera, and the eBay and Amazon Affiliates programs. HubPages is a free service provided to the “Hubbers” in order to establish an open online community.
