Google Profiles is a product that allows users to create a public, searchable profile and social media hub that links to your blog and other profiles such as [Flickr](company/flickr), Twitter, Google Reader, and Facebook, among others.
Users can even verify their Google Profiles via Google's Knol product in the Preferences section.
