Epoch is a city-building game with nice graphics and well-painted details.
The exterior view of the city and its citizens changes according to a certain epoch. The player becomes a chief of a small primitive tribe. His aim is to lead the tribe to prosperity through six epochs. The user develops the settlement from a small tribe’s site to a full-grown Renaissance city. He should show his worth as a real ruler, and keep and watch over the citizen’s health as well as the city’s income and its infrastructure. It is also important to mind science and army. When the user is absent, his friends can assist him in repairing buildings, extinguishing a fire, and so on.
The game will certainly be interesting to all fans of Civilization, Age of Empires and historical strategy games in general. The hardcore audience is also likely to play it.
