As of May 2008 earthmine launched 2 sets of developer tools. The first one being earthmine flash viewer API, which is a flash component that can be controlled via JavaScript or ActionScript and mashed up to build AJAX or Flash/Flex/AIR applications. This is a higher level API, designed to work almost out of the box, you could call it the equivalent to the Google Maps API but for street level imagery.
The second is the earthmine direct data API, a very flexible REST API that provides programmatic access to earthmine’s Image and 3D data sources.
