Domotium is a luxury home automation system to be installed over the network (as a personal computer) , and Domotium to make possible the control of the home automation (intelligent home), lighting, motorised blind and awning system , technical alarm of natural gas, water, smoke, monoxide, security, plugs, electrical appliance, air-conditioned systems, and all the typical control systems, Domotium offers the characteristic of audio and video vigilance or leisure time in the same system, and you can access with WiFi devices as a simple PDA or through Internet.
Domotiun is written in the same language that Internet and because this we are able to connect all the devices that are thought to use them through a network (IP cameras, mediacenter, PC’s, etc…), moreover Domotium carries out the UPnP technology and because this is possible the future integration of electrical appliances with this technology, in the UPnP forum consists of more than 700 companies like Siemens, LG, Samsung, IBM, Philips…and the laboratories of these companies are working on this standard , including operative systems as Windows XP or Linux, and Domotium has a graphic interface in a touch screen of 15” to the control and easy use.
We can’t forget that Domotium has also an input/utput for the control of the system with Short Messages Service (SMS) from cellular , or for the control with TCP/IP from last mobile generation.
Domotium can send data by Category 5 cable (typical network cable), trough 802.11b (wireless connection) or over the power line wiring (devices that communicate by the electrical network)
