The product line of Codenomicon consists of a suite of network protocol testing tools called DEFENSICS. These tools have roots in the research done at the University of Oulu in the Secure Programming Group.
DEFENSICS includes test suites for protocols including for example networks protocols such as SMTP, SNMP, BGP, IPv6, SSH and SIP. In addition there are also test suites for various Bluetooth profiles and Wireless LAN.
