Cruise is a business simulator. Its graphics is abound in calm colours, and depicts a conciliative landscape with the sea, palm trees, houses and yellow sand.
The player manages a small tropical island. He hires staff, improves infrastructure, constructs buildings, organizes cruises, and invests in development of the territory. The user’s goal is to turn the island to the most beautiful resort. The main value of the game is buildings which facilitate for users to accumulate money and speed up an economic expansion into neighbouring regions. Boats, ships and smaller buildings are the second-order values. After completing the island’s construction, the user can sell it and buy a more spacious one. He can also send gifts to his friends, visit their places, hire them as managers or appoint them captains to start cruises.
The audience is mixed and does not depend on gender or social status – 15-to-45-year-old people who are fond of business simulators.
