ClientSpot is an online project collaboration, time tracking and data management application for freelancers, virtual professionals and agencies.

It lets small businesses share files, track tasks and time, keep a project calendar, manage contacts, sales leads and more through a flexible database feature.

Each project can have an unlimited number of tasks, which can have assigned users and deadlines, and can be displayed on a shared calendar. Users can also exchange comments and replies for each project to track conversations.

ClientSpot supports a private area for each client, with user-level access control for each project. Clients can access their projects, submit task requests, and see real time progress online.

Users can enter and track time manually, or using the built-in start/stop task timer. Business owners can report on time for each team member, or see a detailed summary to invoice clients. Support for managing retainer clients is also included.

A unique database feature lets users create custom lists to track sales prospects, contacts, invoices, etc. Predefined templates for common uses are provided, and users can also import an existing Excel spreadsheet to get started quickly.

Some additional capabilities include syncing calendar entries with Outlook 2007, automatic email reminders and notifications, and export of timer information to Excel or QuickBooks.
