Campfire is a web-based group chat tool that allows its users to set up password-protected chat rooms in a short time period. It’s a global company that enables users to invite a client, colleague, or vendor to chat, collaborate, and make decisions and allows them to link to a room on their intranet for internal communications.
Users of Campfire can also team up with the official Campfire app for the iPhone, featuring a streamlined user interface, live image previews within the chat room, inline viewing of popular file formats, inline YouTube viewing, access to all their Campfire rooms, and full SSL support.
Campfire was established in 2007 and is headquartered in Copenhagen.
