Babelgum is an integrated web and mobile video content platform. Free for users, it is supported by advertising and available on-demand to a global audience.
The platform offers innovative, professionally produced content on specific passions – music, comedy, film, urban culture, nature and the environment – curated by experts in their fields, with 5 thematic channels: Music, Film, Comedy, Metropolis (on urban culture) and Our Earth (nature and the environment). The programming proposition is comprised of independent and mainstream titles as well as exclusive original productions.
Users can rate the programmes they watch and log their favourites in the system. Content owners can upload their videos at no cost through the Babelgum Video Publisher, which provides for the simultaneous upload of entire content libraries. The content is monetized through advertising.
