The alaScore is an overall product quality rating based on reviews aggregated from over 1700 sources worldwide. In November 2010, the total number of aggregated product reviews from experts and users was more than 10.5 millions.
The alaScore is an adjusted normalized rating scale from 1-100.
The alaScore is calculated with a complex algorithm, taking into account the rating behavior of each individual review source - magazines and websites - and even for each category. Other factors include the quantified weight of each review source and the age of the reviews.
