Sam Zurcher is a Software Engineer based in Switzerland with interest in Java, TDD, Scrum, and search.
Sam Zurcher studied computer science at ETH Zurich (Switzerland) and UNC Chapel Hill (NC) and holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from ETH Zurich. He was an intern at Google in Mountain View (CA) in 2005 and has been working as an ICT Specialist at the Samtse College of Education (Bhutan) in 2006 and 2007. He is working as a Software Engineer in a Scrum team at Swisscom since 2008.
Together with Werner Hartmann, he has been working on the ideas and concepts behind the exploration engine horizobu and is responsible for the technical aspects. Since 2010, he is CTO of horizobu.
