Zach is will soon complete is MBA degree at The USC Marshall School of Business where he is focusing on Entrepreneurship and Finance. Zach is also the EVP of PM students for the Entrepreneur and Venture Management Association at USC. Concurrently he works as the Manager of Business Operations at FamilyFinds.com, a Los Angeles based social buying website lead by entrepreneur and investor Matt Coffin. Zach manages daily operations for FamilyFinds. Zach joined FamilyFinds with less than 5 employees and prior to its $5M in Series A financing from Split Rock Ventures.
Zach has spent over four years working for some of Los Angeles’ most highly regarded internet entrepreneurs for start-ups that have had market success. He helped launch Docstoc along side co-founders Jason Nazar and Alon Schwartz leading up to and during the inaugural TechCrunch 40 event in 2007. Zach worked for The NTI Group for the year and a half prior to and following its $178M acquisition by Blackboard Inc. The NTI Group was lead by investor / entrepreneur Robin Richards (MP3.com and Internships.com).
Zach was born outside of Detroit and is a graduate of The University of Michigan where he majored in History and completed the Pre-Medicine curriculum.
