Zach James is the Co-Founder of MOVIECLIPS, Inc. – recognized by TIME as a TIME TOP 50 SITE OF 2010. Zach started his career at the VC-funded start-up Omniture in various roles. He watched the startup grow to become the fastest growing publicly-traded software company with over 1,000 employees. Zach has worked in the venture capital industry with Hummer Winblad Venture Partners in San Francisco and he founded and ran the BYU chapter of the largest student-run venture fund in the nation – the University Venture Fund.
Prior to Movieclips, Zach worked as an investment banker at Credit Suisse. He was responsible for tracking and recognizing up-and-coming Internet startups and bringing them to potential acquirers. There, he was involved in Google’s acquisition of Youtube for $1.65 billion. Zach is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
