“Yves Languepin combines a strong vision for innovation with successful track records in starting and building technology-enabled services and media businesses. Prior to joining Eyeka, and for the past six years, he has served as CTO of ChateauOnline, the European leading wine retailer on the Internet. Yves started his career as an entrepreneur. He created IVAO, one of the first French company dedicated to multimedia. IVAO developed innovative photo and video services and, after 10 years of growth, was purchased by France Telecom in 1994. Yves stayed on as technical director for five years at VTCOM, a France Telecom wholly owned subsidiary, where he continued to oversee the launch of large Internet portals. Most recently, Yves built the technology platform of the leading French user generated TV show, distributed by “La Parisienne d’Images” on Canal +. Yves holds an Engineering Degree from Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Arts et Métiers, in Paris.”
