Yoram Avidan, Founder & CEO, has 15 years experience with gaming and visualization technologies. Prior to Playce, he spent 6 years as CTO and VP R&D at Israeli defense contractor, a world leader in high-end 3D graphics and visualization systems for military simulators. Previously, Yoram was CTO and VP R&D at Pixel (acquired by TakeTwo). Yoram also served as a consultant to a Silicon Graphics / Nintendo JV, where he optimized the core graphics engine for the N64 game console. Yoram is a serial entrepreneur, having previously founded Optivera, which provided traffic management and optimization software for large optical networks, and Virtual Reality Development (acquired by Pixel), which developed 3D reconstruction software and a real-time animation engine. Yoram began his career in Intel’s core technologies group, where he helped to develop the first digital video processor. He was among the top 100 contributors to LINUX’s core code.
