Yoav Tzruya is a partner at JVP, the leading Israeli venture capital firm. JVP manages over $900M in 8 different funds and invest primarily in digital media, enterprise software and cyber security verticals.
Yoav Tzruya is a seasoned digital media and enterprise software veteran, with close to 20 years experience in the field.
Previously, Yoav spent 5 years with Exent Technologies, a leading provider of video games services, as the company’s COO and CMO, leading it to 70% y/y growth 5 years in a row. Yoav led the company’s strategy and operations, working with partners such as CBS, Time Wartner, Intel, Verizon, Comcast, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and others.
Prior to Exent, Yoav spent 5 years with TeleKnowledge group, a billing, customer care and partnerships relationship management software vendor, who catered for the early pioneers in digital media and content. Working with pioneers such as Listen.com (Real Networks), Yahoo!, TheStreet.com and others, Yoav participated in forming the foundations of today’s digital media business models.
Yoav started his career with the Israeli Air Force, where he spent six years leading a diversified team of individuals, leading the development and implementation of the Air Force’s mission-critical, operational, command and control system.
Yoav has gained an Executive MBA from Northwestern/Kellogg, an M.Sc in Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University (summa cum laude) and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University (summa cum laude).
