Yancey Strickler is the cofounder of the Brooklyn-based Kickstarter. Yancey formerly served as Editor in Chief at eMusic, where he created and produced a TV series and founded a record label. His writing has appeared in Pitchfork, Spin, and Entertainment Weekly, among other publications. He received his Bachelors from the College of William & Mary.
