I recently have been working with the Government of India on several project including UID (Aadhaar) and RSBY. My role is largely focused on bridging the gap between UID and social programs. This includes completely rebuilding of the IT infrastructure to accommodate real-time biometric authentication; in doing so he has been involved with several different programs, including Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna (RSBY.) As a member of the RSBY core team I has largely been focused on building a large scale insurance clearing house, able to handle 600M beneficiaries with over 50,000 hospitals delivering services within the network all integrated with UID. Dew to the increasing success of UIDAI and RSBY, I have been involved in building the strategy of both social service delivery and ID systems in many countries.
