Willa Wei joined ChinaEquity as Vice President at its founding in May 1999. Before joining ChinaEquity, Mrs. Wei helped to found Shanyue Commodities Service Co., Ltd., Huayi Commodities Company, Beijing Weiqi Cultural Service Co., Ltd., and worked in senior management positions. From 1989 to 1993, Mrs. Wei worked in China’s State Planning and Development Committee.
Mrs. Wei obtained her BE degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Master of Economics from People’s University. She also holds an ACCA certificate and furthermore she was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.
