Will brings a unique blend of investment and entrepreneurial experience to his efforts leading and advising consumer technology and consumer products companies.
Most recently Will founded Santa.com where he currently serves as the CEO. Prior to that, Will was President of Tonic.com, a media site focused on the positive things taking place in the world. In 2006, Will founded and ran Phix, a health and wellness company based in Seattle, which he sold in early 2010. Before jumping back into the entrepreneurial world, Will was a principal at Maveron, a consumer focused venture capital firm started by Howard Schultz of Starbucks and Dan Levitan. He began his investment career at Foundation Capital where he was as an entrepreneur in residence and later a venture associate focused on business services and enterprise software. Before Foundation, Will enjoyed success as an entrepreneur having founded a venture-backed restaurant chain called World Wrapps. Over a three-year period, he helped invent and brand a new food product called the “wrap” and grow the company into a 30-unit business with over 600 employees. Will began his career at Intuit, at the time a growing ~100-person organization, where he was involved in product management for the Quicken line. He received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from University of California at Santa Barbara. He is the recipient of the Visionary Award and NRA’s Hot Concept Award.
