Warren Mead is a start-up entrepreneur focused on building great companies from their early stages of initial rounds of funding.
With over 18 years of experience with sales leadership, business development management, channel marketing development and building successful teams, Warren has helped lead young, fast-growing companies to successful IPOs and acquisitions.
Warren has recently joined Exoprise, as the VP of Sales to define and direct its sales and go-to-market strategy as well as build and launch a channel sales program around it cloud based monitoring and assessment solutions.
Prior to joining Exoprise, Warren has been involved in a number of successful startups. Warren spent 6 years building SpeechWorks (now Nuance, Nasdaq: NUAN) from its first customers to a $160M public company with the 12th most successful IPO of 2000.
As the initial sales leader at Virtual Iron, Warren built and launched a sales model that drove over 3,000 customers and a successful acquisition by Oracle in 2009. Warren also lead a successful turnaround effort at Akorri Networks that resulted in a successful acquisition by NetApp in 2011.
Warren holds a BA from Marist College and Leeds University.
