Vincenzo Belpiede (born April 11, 1984 in Canosa di Puglia, Italy) is a mobile professional at Nokia and a member of Commnexus San Diego's premiere technology organization.
Vincenzo joined Nokia's Corporate Strategy team in June 2007 in the headquarters in Espoo, Finland. Soon after was selected as the youngest participant with other 10 graduates out of 1400 applicants in a product management leadership program which took him to relocate every 6 months around the world: started in Ulm, Germany on s40 fashion devices, then in Beijing on the first TD-SCDMA device for China Mobile, after a brief stint in Oulu, Finland finally landed in San Diego, California.
From 2009 to 2011 Vincenzo worked in the Nokia AT&T team in the extremely dynamic US market, switching to a role more focused on services, apps and software with key focus areas in search and maps. Since mid 2011 Vincenzo started a new role as senior manager in the global smartphone planning team working closely with Microsoft on defining the roadmap and future experiences of the next Nokia Windows Phones.
Vincenzo has spoken at various mobile events, organized many hackathons for mobile developers and is deeply involved in San Diego's high-tech community through Commnexus and other organizations.
