Mr. Gupta joined WTI in 2010 and is responsible for investments in technology and life science start-ups. In addition, he is an active angel investor and an advisor to a number of start-ups, including NeuroSave (medical devices for traumatic brain injury), Scripped (online marketplace for freelance written content) and Victrio (fraud detection software).
Prior to joining WTI, Mr. Gupta was with JPMorgan Partners’ venture capital group, investing in early through mid-stage technology companies. His investments and board affiliations included Aristos Logic (acquired by Adaptec), Catena Networks (acquired by CIENA), Ikanos Communications (IPO), Sierra Logic (acquired by Emulex) and Tacit Networks (acquired by Packeteer). He began his career with Credit Suisse First Boston’s Leveraged Finance Group in New York.
Mr. Gupta holds a B.A. with Distinction from The University of California, Berkeley.
