Venky Harinarayan

Prior to founding Kosmix, Venky Harinarayan and co-founded Junglee, one of the first shopping search engines. They later sold it to Amazon in 1998 for 250 million.

He later started Cambrian Ventures which has invested in Internet companies such as Efficient Frontier, Kaltix (acquired by Google), Neoteris (acquired by Juniper), Transformic (acquired by Google), TheFind, and Aster Data.

His latest venture is Kosmix a vertical search engine.
