Vasco is one of two co-founders and managing directors at mokono. mokono was founded in 2007, is based in Berlin and operates and markets one of Europe largests blog networks.
mokono specializes in developing online ad formats for the blogosphere and other social media environments. Part of the mokono portfolio is made up of owned and operated blog portals, such as blog.de, blog.co.uk or blog.fr. The own properties host around 1M bloggers while the whole portfolio of the mokono network offers a reach of 47M UU to advertisers across Europe. This makes mokono a provider of fast and efficient access to Europe´s most influential web users for brands and advertisers.
More on Vasco: Prior to founding mokono, Vasco co-founded and operated what was to become Germany´s 3rd largest online dating site, kontaktanzeigen.de, again with his partner Florian Wilken who is also his partner today at mokono. The company, which was started in a student dorm, was acquired in August 2002 after being founded in 1997.
Education: Vasco holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and lived in Germany, Denmark, Italy, the US and Portugal.
