Val is responsible for Britely’s vision, product direction, and leadership. He brings over 10 years of experience managing successful online ventures and products to Britely.
Prior to joining Britely (formerly Mashlogic), Val was the Director of Product Management at Mint.com, the world’s most popular online personal financial management solution (acquired by Intuit). Before Mint, Val was co-founder and CEO of Karmony, an early social recommendation engine. Prior to Karmony, Val worked at e-commerce pioneer eBags.com, where he first led the development team as Director of Software before moving to England to establish eBags’ European business as General Manager.
Val holds a bachelors of science degree in environmental engineering from the University of Michigan and a masters degree in business administration from the London Business School.
Val spends his free time exploring and photographing California with his wife and two young boys.
