Mr. Arat is a veteran of the Silicon Valley with over 24 years of experience and is known for pioneering leading-edge technology solutions and building strategic partnerships with industry leaders. He joined Microfabrica from Silicon Value (later called Silicon Design Systems), a provider of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and related design tools, where he was the CEO of the company. Prior to Silicon Value, he held various management positions at companies such as Samsung, LSI Logic, Honeywell, and IBM Microelectronics’ sales arm in the Silicon Valley. He was a founder of Crosspoint Solutions, a field programmable gate array (FPGA) company.
