Trivikram Kamath is the Executive Vice President and Head of Operations for Finance and Technology at Kotak Securities Ltd., India’s leading stock brokerage firm from the Kotak Mahindra Group. Kotak Securities is an industry leader in Retail Broking (Equities and other financial products) and Depository Services business.
Prior to joining the Kotak Mahindra Group, Trivikram Kamath was a part of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) – an Indian IT based firm that offers a wide range of IT services, outsourcing and business solutions - from February 1988 to December 1990 as a System Analyst and Programmer. In the later years, he moved on to join Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Limited Group (IL&FS) - one of India’s leading infrastructure development and financial services companies. He stayed with IL&FS from January 1991 to March 2005. During his tenure in IL&FS, Trivikram Kamath was also associated with the core team which set up the National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India Limited between the years 1992-93. Prior to taking up the position at Kotak Securities, his last role was that of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Securities & Transaction Administration Services Division of IL&FS.
From March 2005 onwards, Trivikram Kamath has been an integral part of Kotak Securities with corporate responsibility for Operations, Finance and Technology. He has a total work experience of 22 years, of which the last 6 years has been with Kotak Securities Ltd
