Tracy Grand is the CEO of JacketFlap. She has a passion for children’s publishing. Tracy saw the need for a central resource for children’s publishing information. JacketFlap was created to fulfill that need. Since 1994, Tracy has been a pioneer in marketing research, measurement, and information resources on the Internet. In 1998, Tracy’s company Word of Net created the Visibility Index, which measured the visibility of websites and was published as a regular feature in AdAge Magazine. Word of Net pioneeered many of the search engine Internet marketing tools in use today. The company was acquired by Inceptor. Tracy is a wife and the mother of three girls, and she lives in Los Angeles, CA.
