Touraj Parang is a serial entrepreneur and advisor in multiple technology startups providing guidance on strategy creation and execution. He is currently an Operating Partner at Pejman Mar Ventures and leads M&A and Business Development for Domains, Telephony and Productivity business units at GoDaddy.
Previously, he was the founding COO of UpCounsel (the leading marketplace for on-demand legal services) and headed up strategy and partnerships for Webs, where he led the strategic transformation of the company to a small business marketing platform and sale to Vistaprint in December 2011.
Prior to Webs, he founded Jaxtr, a pioneering cloud telephony service which was acquired by Sabse Technologies in 2009.
Before joining the entrepreneurial ranks, he was a corporate attorney and venture capitalist in Silicon Valley. Touraj has been involved with many startups with an active role in financing and M&A transactions totaling over $1.6 billion.
He holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and degrees in Philosophy and Economics from Stanford University.
