Tony Pagliocco / Atomic Online
Tony Pagliocco is Wizards of the Coast’s Senior Development Manager for Enterprise Applications. Tony brings 12 years of web engineering and online media experience, with a focus on emerging technologies. In his role at Wizards of the Coast (WotC), he is responsible for managing a team of developers that has the purpose of delivering scalable, sustainable and supportable enterprise-level applications, services, mobile, and/or websites as defined by the associated Business team. He also manages development progress of multiple projects that involve significant technical and/or business complexity and communication while acting as a liaison between the Development team and the other aspects of the company.
Prior to Wizards of the Coast, Tony served as the Director of Technology at Digital Research Inc, a full service market research company based in Kennebunk, Maine, where he brought innovation to their digital products and worked on improving development efficiency of web based market research surveys and online market research communities.
Before DRI, Tony Pagliocco joined SheKnows.com, a division of Atomic Online, in mid 2007 as the Director of Web Technology & Product Development. Atomic Online is a multi-media and technology company with revenue over $20 million and a portfolio of over 30 owned & operated websites. Atomic’s websites roll-up under 4 major hub properties: CraveOnline.com, SheKnows.com, GameRevolution.com, and theFashionSpot.com.
Tony oversaw the SheKnows team of 40 employees and 100+ contractors and freelancers responsible for editorial, operations, business development, marketing, ad sales, product development, web engineering, agile development coaching, and strategic planning.
Tony evangelizes Agile practices in the workplace and as a result has had his team release extraordinary custom products for clients such as General Mills, JC Penny, Fisher Price, NBC, and ACS.
Tony joined SheKnows from vSocial where as the Senior Implementation Engineer he helped in development, implementation, and release of the social video networking platform.
Prior to vSocial, Tony spent 5 years at Arizona State University in the Physics and Astronomy Department, working as Senior Analyst for the HORUS and ORION Space Mission Research teams. Working alongside analysts from JPL, NASA, and other institutions, Tony provided web application development, system administration, and database support for all team members.
Tony holds a BS from Arizona State University in Computer Science and currently resides in Washington.
