Tony Conrad is Co-Founder & CEO of about.me (acquired by Aol in December 2010 and bought back by the Founders in February 2013). He is also a Founding Venture Partner at True Ventures where he serves on the Board of Directors of Automattic (WordPress), Blue Bottle Coffee, appssavvy, Quarterly, KISSmetrics, Qualaroo and led True’s investment in MakerBot, ToyTalk, 9GAG and Betable.
Previously, Tony was Co-Founder & CEO Sphere (acquired by AOL in April, 2008). In addition, Tony has managed investments in Typekit (acquired by Adobe), Milk (acquired by Google), OnTheAir (acquired by Yahoo), Post Communications (NASDAQ: NTVS), QuinStreet (NASDAQ: QNST), Danger (acquired by Microsoft), Sabrix (acquired by Thompson Reuters), Stonyfield Farms (acquired by Groupe Danone), TAGGED (WeGame), Oddpost (acquired by Yahoo), Iconoculture, MusicNow (acquired by Circuit City), Centive (acquired by Xactly) .
