Tony Conrad

Tony Conrad is the CEO/ Founder of Sphere, the company behind the Sphere Related Content Genome that connects content to contextually relevant content from archives as well as from Blog Posts, Media Articles, Video, Photos, and Ads from across the Web. Sphere was acquired by AOL in April, 2008.

In addition to Sphere, Tony is simultaneously a Venture Partner at True Ventures. Tony serves on the Board of Directors of Automattic (WordPress), WeGame, VoxPop, appssavvy, StockTwits, Rescue Time, PastFuture (GDGT) and led True’s investment in KISS Metrics & Small Batch.

Prior to Sphere/ True Ventures, Tony served on the Board of Directors for Oddpost (acquired by Yahoo), Iconoculture, MusicNow (acquired by Circuit City), and Centive. Tony also played an active role managing investments in Post Communications (NASDAQ: NTVS) and Stonyfield Farms (acquired by Groupe Danone).
