Tomoko Namba is a CEO of DeNA. She was born in 1962 in Nigata. She graduated from Tsudajuku University in 1986 and joined Mckinsey & Company Japan. Two years after her joining the commpany, she studied in Harverd University and got her MBA. After that she returned to Mckinsey, worked a few years, and became a partner. She is a third Japanese woman partner in Mckinsey. Then She founded DeNA with her peers and started her own company in 1999. In 2003, She came in a staff of Cabinet’s IT Strategy Headquarters. Also she came in a commissioner of Administrative Reform Committee in 2004. In 2007, She came in a committee of the Contents Japanese Brand expert panel of intellectual property strategy. Additionally she was elected the No.1 “Woman of The Year 2007†by Nikkei Woman*.
