Tom Walter
Tom has been a creative director, managing teams of writers and designers, for various internet companies through periods of incredible growth.
Currently, he runs his own creative consulting firm, Walter Consultants, working primarily with start-ups and mid-size companies such as: Ongo, LikeList, Bill.com, IronPlanet, WANdisco, Move.com, LuxuryLink and more.
Before that, he was Creative Director for PayPal from mid-2004 to the end of 2007. during his time there, he shepherded a logo refresh and a site redesign.
He came to PayPal from eBay where he was that company’s first Creative Director from early 1999 until his move over to PayPal. He created many of the visual and brand tenets that have come to be known as the eBay brand.
From 1995 until joining eBay, Tom was a Sr. Art Director at CKS Partners where he worked with clients like: Apple, United Airlines, Mazda, Silicon Graphics and eBay.
