Tom is the President and Chief Operating Office of Geomagic, Inc. and has more than twenty years of experience in technology sales, marketing, product management, corporate development, engineering and law. Previously he was with Bentley Systems, Incorporated.
Geomagic is the leading developer of 3D software for creating digital models of physical objects. Geomagic’s software is used to capture reality - professionals involved in the design, reverse engineering and inspection of parts, products and medical devices use our software to shorten time to market and substantially improve quality. At Geomagic Tom’s role is to assist Ping Fu, Geomagic’s CEO, to provide leadership and drive operational excellence in all aspects of Geomagic’s business.
Prior to joining Geomagic, Tom was Vice President of Subscriptions at Bentley, a leading provider of infrastructure solutions that enable engineers, architects, governments and utilities to design, build and operate their constructed assets more efficiently. Tom was part of the senior management team which grew Bentley’s annual revenues to more than $500 million and was directly responsible for the global software subscriptions business which represented more than two-thirds of Bentley’s revenues. Prior to his last role at Bentley Tom held various other roles including driving corporate development initiatives and running Bentley’s global channel partners. Tom joined Bentley from Dechert, an AmLaw 100 global law firm, where he was an Attorney in Dechert’s Corporate and Secrurities Group focusing on M&A and intellectual property.
Tom received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and his Juris Doctorate, Magna Cum Laude, from Temple University.
