Tom Kiblin founded Virtacore Systems, Inc. to fill a marketplace void - to meet web-centric entrepreneurs’, developers’ and enterprises’ demanding needs for affordable customized virtualization and cloud hosting solutions. His customer-focused vision and dedication to technical excellence are the product of over 15 years of progressive engineering, management and business development experience at high tech industry leaders including Wellfleet Communications/Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel), International Networks (acquired by Lucent), Village Networks, YDI/Proxim Wireless and PCCW Global Web Hosting.
As a serial entrepreneur, Mr. Kiblin has a proven track record in identifying and exploiting marketplace opportunities and the deployment of software, systems, and networks. In 2005, he founded PowerVS to focus on virtualization environments for voice applications and in 2006, he founded Power VPS to provide consumer grade server virtualization technologies. Mr. Kiblin’s expansive technical expertise spans server virtualization, cloud hosting, telecommunications, data communications and information systems.
As a business leader, Mr. Kiblin takes an active interest in developing strong personal relationships with customers, partners and employees. His cultivated management skills include building sales channels, organizing technical teams and processes, establishing strategic partnerships, managing complex sales and attracting and leading top people.
